AQL Query is for advanced users, who are familiar with the Ace Query Langauge. This method of searching is very powerful but requires considerable familiarity with CottonDB and AceDB. We will be adding examples and sample searches soon.

Presently, CottonDB is based on ACEDB version 4.9 (Richard Durbin and Jean Thierry-Mieg, MRC LMB Cambridge, England and CNRS, Montpellier, France, respectively) with modifications to model files derived from other plant genome databases presented at Agricultural Genome Information Server (AGIS).
